Blade of Grass

Blade of Grass
A blade of grass grows mighty fast
but that's only if it's allowed to bask
in the sunshine and get plenty of water
plus nutrients from the bottom
ummm
A blade of grass is usually green
but's only if it's healthy and clean
and you know there's a parallel to be drawn
from our world to that world and so on
ummm
A blade of grass doesn't need to flower
because it has different beautifull powers
have you ever heard of a "Sea of Green"?
It's one thing you must see to believe

History Book of Life
Everybody has a page
written in the History book
Sentences of years,
paragraphed decennia
Chaptered families
Spaced throughout the millennia
You cannot call the publisher
His phone is always busy
No answering machine either
His life is much to privy
Spelling mistakes can happen
And will be rightly written
In the History Book of Life

When I see the moon and stars
Life seems so unreal
What's the deal?
Early sun through the mist
I've seen it so many times before
Only makes me want it more
Sunshine during the day
Is a blessing in disguise
makes everything seem so wonderfull and wise
Can miss you so, but I don't know
What I'd rather do today
Can you come out and play?

Wonder
It really makes me wonder
what a world it'd be without thunder
If trees never grew leaves
and there weren't no disease
If water was anything but wet
and we never had anything to regret
If there were never any wars
never any reasons to close doors
If people didn't constantly fight
to only afterwards see the light
If rain fell towards the sky
or what really happens when we die
Sometimes I have to sit and wonder
Will you sit and wonder with me?

I know a man who's as wise as his words
He gets up in the morning, drinks his tea and feeds the birds
The winds of time have swept his face
But he has the same goals as any man any place
In the time we have in which to grow older
Experience and knowledge seem to grow bolder
Talking with the keyboard she can type up a storm
to write a letter now-a-days is not the norm
A fish in the net she's swimming round the world
Never would have imagined this when she was a little girl
If I was at Harvard I'd be better off than you
I'd have a fire place in my room
There'd be lots of trees on the campus grounds
When the snow falls it would dampen all sounds
In these six some years it's been nothing but complain
I don't think he'll ever come back here again

Wolf's Neck
The place her soul loves the most
is the place on the rocky Maine coast
Settled above an old stone jetty
Of Maine granite so sturdy and steady
There is a cottage which some call Mecca
Here she will sit on her bank with might
And her view is the most magnificient sight
A powerfull love under gracefull trees
They shade her and sway in the warm breeze
On this point called Wolf's Neck
Family and friends are there when ever needed
Loyalty to the land is always heeded
There is a spirit which for ever lives
Happiness, beauty and calm is what it gives
On this point called Wolf's Neck
